Jérémie Zimmermann, 38, is the co-founder of Hacking with Care, a collective composed of hackers-activists, caregivers, artists, sociologist, growing quite literally by contact and affinity. Together we imagine, circulate, put in common resources and tools for care in accordance with hackers ethics and peer-to-peer philosophy. Jérémie is also the co-founder and was spokesperson for 7 years of La Quadraturedu Net, an advocacy group that promotes the rights and freedoms of citizens on the Internet. Jérémie Zimmermann was awarded the 2012 Pioneer Award by the ElectronicFrontier Foundation (EFF), for „having been instrumental in the fight against the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA)“. He is co-author with J. Assange, J. Appelbaum and A. Muhler-Maguhn in the book „Cypherpunks“.
